Serotonin Balance
About Serotonin
Serotonin is a chemical produced by the nerve cells, used to send signals between the nerves. It is found in many parts of the body: the digestive system, blood platelets, and throughout the central nervous system. Serotonin impacts every part of the body, from emotions to motor skills. It helps with sleeping, healing, and digesting. Serotonin is also thought to be a natural mood stabilizer.
Here are some various functions serotonin acts in across the body:
- Bowel Movements: About 90% of the serotonin in the body is produced in the intestines, helping to control bowel movements and function.
- Mood: Serotonin in the brain is believed to regulate feelings, including happiness and anxiety.
- Nausea: Serotonin in the stomach and intestines helps the body initiate nausea and vomiting in response to illness, foods, or other conditions.
and Waking : The ability to stay awake is controlled by neurotransmitters, including serotonin. While sleeping, the chemical is involved in switching between REM and non-REM sleep.- Blood Clotting: Platelets in the blood store serotonin. When bodily damage needs repair, platelets release serotonin to help stop bleeding and heal wounds.
- Sex: Serotonin is involved in controlling the body’s sexual functions.
The Program
The included carrier frequencies are:
- 80 hz: stimulate 5-hydroxytryptamine (serotonin) production
- 160 hz: stimulate 5-hydroxytryptamine (serotonin) production
- 90 hz: Good feelings, security, well-being, beta-endorphins
- 174 hz: alleviate pain and stress, relax muscles and lessen tension in the body
- 70 hz: Endorphin production/used with electroanalgesia<
- 111 hz: Beta-endorphins, cell regeneration
The beat frequencies used are, in order:
- 5 hz: Relaxing, pain-relief, beta-endorphin increases of 10-50% reported
- 10 hz: Enhances serotonin and mood, decreased pain/increased beta-endorphins
- 2.5 hz: Pain relief, relaxation, endogenous opiates. Sedative effects
Intention
For the maximum effect, it helps to focus your intention on what you want to heal. For mood, visualize a meter for your serotonin: imagine it slowly rising. Imagine any negative thoughts as objects in your mind, and visualize them melting away. For digestion, visualize your serotonin as a liquid in a container sloshing around. Visualize it coming into balance, becoming still. Focus your intentions on your digestive system, feeling the muscles relax, and the organs become still and serene.
